Academic Credit
(EPFA 410/510, 2-3 Quarter Credits)
Offered by the Intercultural Communication Institute and Portland State University
Undergraduate and graduate credit is offered cooperatively by the Intercultural Communication Institute and Portland State University, Continuing Education/Graduate School of Education with the School of Extended Studies.
SIIC participants may earn 2 quarter credits for Session I (July 9-11) or IIIb (July 21-23) and 3 quarter credits for each of Sessions II (July 14-28) or IIIa (July 21-25). The course title is “Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication” EPFA 410/510
To earn academic credit, participants must attend workshops full-time, read assigned material following the workshops, and complete a written project due, without exception, before November 1, 2008. Papers will be graded Fall Term, by December 13, 2008.
Fees
The fee for credit is in addition to the tuition and is paid directly to SIIC prior to arrival or during registration. Academic credit fees are non-refundable.
The fee for academic credit are:
2 credits (Sessions I and IIIb) $200.00
3 credits (Sessions II and IIIa) $250.00
To provide additional information, a Credit Information Table will be set up in the lunch room at 12:45 pm on Wednesday, July 9; Monday, July 14; and Monday July 21.
